This Blog is dedicated to the continuous reviews and opinions of the two star restaurants ‘Midsummer House’ based in Cambridge.

I hope that people feel free to add as many comments as they wish and I will do my best to portray an unbiased approach to my blog.

Why this blog has been started:

Before questions are raised over the intention for this blog I would light to shine light onto why I have decided to develop one. Midsummer House is said to be the best restaurant in Cambridge it has a divine location set on the river Cam - perfect for summer dining and has won many awards including two Michelin Stars. There has also been debate whether it should receive its third Michelin star, something else I would like you to discuss!

From this picture it is hard to argue that its setting is not idyllic.

But that is the whole intention of this blog for GENUINE people, restaurateurs and lovers of good food to express their personal opinions of Midsummer House.

I have followed many reviews and forums with interest as people discuss everything from the amount of space you have around the tables, the waiters/waitresses right down to the food, (which I am guessing is the most important factor!)

For many people Midsummer House is well deserving of the illustrious third Michelin star. For many people it does not. I also find it intriguing as to when someone praises certain restaurants then they are accused of ‘working for them’ and having an ulterior motive.

Notice when people say they disliked Midsummer due to high prices then no one accuses them of ‘working for a competitor’ of Midsummer!
